Hayu Wibawa

Hayu has a background in Forest Silviculture and Communication Science.  Prior to joining Proforest, he worked for USAID SEGAR, a project funded by USAID in Indonesia. In the project, Hayu was responsible for mainstreaming conservation enterprise initiative and greening supply chain in between smallholders’ groups, private sectors, and the government. He also led the community and stakeholders’ engagement section of Hutan Kencana Group, one of the Restoration Ecosystem permit holders in Indonesia.

Hayu has more than 15 years’ experience in project management, government relation, and collaborating various stakeholders’ initiative. He is also experienced in sustainable certification system implementation both in plantation (ISPO, RSPO) and forestry (FSC, SVLK-PHPL, LEI) and commodity supply chain. He speaks fluent Bahasa Indonesia and English.
